AutoKinex Pilot FAQs

AutoKinex is a nationwide tolling service that covers more than 95% of the toll roads and bridges in the USA. Check out our Coverage Map for complete details. When you pass through a toll in your connected vehicle, your car notifies you, and the toll is paid on time. As a Pilot participant, the first $25 of tolls are on us!

Your $25 enrollment credit will pay the first $25 of your tolls during the Pilot. Why? During the pilot we want you to use toll roads so you can experience the benefits of AutoKinex, especially the in-vehicle toll notifications. Your credit card will only be used to pay for tolls that exceed the $25 credit. There are NO subscription fees during the AutoKinex Pilot.

You don’t have to do anything – your $25 promo credit is automatically applied to your account when you complete your enrollment (open your AutoKinex account and add a vehicle and credit card). The first $25 of tolls are on us!

The AutoKinex Pilot subscription is FREE, and the first $25 of tolls are on us. Your credit card will be used only for tolls you incur AFTER you’ve used up your $25 credit. (After the Pilot ends, monthly subscription fees are $3 per month per vehicle. You can transition automatically to the paid service or choose to cancel.)

Go to app.autokinex.com. You can also download the app to your phone from Apple Store or Google Play.

Yes, you will receive toll-related messages on your infotainment screen. When you are traveling on a toll road, your vehicle will communicate with the toll network and display toll information messages. Messages will close automatically after about 10-15 seconds.

Yes, you can. There are a few options to choose from. Get in touch with Customer Support and we’ll provide you with more info.

As one of the largest providers of tolls in the USA, AutoKinex has negotiated the best rates possible with the Toll Authorities in our Coverage areas. AutoKinex toll rates are usually comparable to transponder rates and are, in most cases, less than the cash rate. Toll rates can vary due to various factors including the issuing Toll Authority, time of day, congestion charges, and more. With AutoKinex, there are no account deposits now or in the future either – it’s all pay-as-you-go. Unlike an individual Toll Authority account, AutoKinex covers you on 95% of the toll roads in the USA without opening and pre-funding additional accounts.

You can sign up for the Pilot right up until March 31, and you’ll still receive your $25 promo credit and a free subscription for the first 30 days. As your pilot is ending, watch your email to find out what’s next, and how you can continue to use your AutoKinex account and enjoy all the benefits.

Yes, you can. Although we’d like you to stay for the duration of the pilot, you are free to cancel at any time.
